A hobby always provides entertainment when we feel bored.
Different people have different hobbies. Some people like collecting stamps as their hobby. People can learn a lot about a country and its people from its stamps. Some people like gardening as their hobby. They always seem to be in the garden as soon as they are free or have nothing to do. They bring different types of flower plants from other places and plant them in their own garden. They make their garden look beautiful. Some like collecting coins as their hobby. They collect the coins of different countries. Coins collected from different places, countries, and times can be kept for display. We can get many ideas or knowledge about history, culture, great national and international personalities, etc. There are also many more hobbies like photography, painting, listening to music, writing, reading books and magazines, keeping pets, visiting other places, etc.
Lastly, a hobby is not for money but for pleasure. Hobbies are very useful for us. We don't get time to think about unnecessary things that pollute our minds. They teach us to be busy, not idle.
