☆ RECALLING OF CHILDHOOD BY THE SPEAKER:

In the first two lines, we find that the speaker is asking about a little 'i' of perhaps five or six years old. Here, in these first two lines, the speaker is addressing himself with a little 'i', a little boy of about five or six years old. He has presented himself as a boy, recalling his childhood days in relation to nature. Here 'i' refers to the speaker as a little boy as well as a small creature in this beautiful and vast nature. The speaker seems to give more importance to his childhood days and this beautiful nature.

☆ ACT OF THE LITTLE BOY:

Next, in the third, fourth, and fifth lines, we find the little boy and his act of peeping at the golden sunset of November through a high window. Here, we find the little boy enjoying the beautiful golden sunset of November. He seems quite enthralled by the wonderful view of the sunset.

☆ FEELING OF THE LITTLE BOY TOWARDS THE WONDERFUL TRANSFORMATION OF NATURE:

In the last three lines, the boy enjoys the beauty of nature very much. He feels the wonderful transformation of the night from day in a very beautiful way. He feels closely connected to nature, seeing the beautiful way the golden colours of the November sunset turn into the dark colours of the night. This is a miracle of vast and great nature.

Here, we find the speaker's deep intimacy and respect for nature. The speaker's deep intimacy with the scenic beauty of nature makes him recall his childhood days, when he found himself as a boy enjoying a beautiful sunset at dusk. He keeps on peering at the golden sunset through some high window. He is completely fascinated to find out the beautiful way of transforming the day into the night.
